As climate aware therapists, what tools can we use for working with climate distress and hopelessness in therapy?

Based on the work of Joanna Macy, the Work that Reconnects offers an innovative framework that can both serve as a guidepost to us as clinicians, and an experiential methodology to work with climate and social justice related distress directly.

As Spring approaches here in the northern hemisphere, we invite you to explore the Work That Reconnects with us through the generous lens of eco-sensuality.

Come & nourish your most intimate relationship: YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH LIFE ITSELF!

Over the course of this afternoon online mini-retreat, we invite you to connect with Earth, not as MOTHER (someone who generously meets all your needs), but as LOVER: someone with whom you are in a unique, exquisite, co-creative relationship.

Experience Earth as Lover, and allow it to warm, cleanse, ground, free and nourish your heart!

At the turning of the seasons, attune to the natural pulsations of life within you.  What wants to be released? What desires are coming alive, and what gifts do you feel called to express?

If you're experiencing pain, fear, anger, or sorrow, perhaps you can allow Lover Earth hold it for you, or hold you in it.

If you've been allowing your spark to dim or feeling stuck in a rut, you may find that you can allow your Lover Earth to ignite your passion or propel you forward.

It may also be that Lover Earth has some important instructions, meant just for you. Will you allow yourself to get quiet enough to hear your lover whisper in your ear?
