Simone came to the Work That Reconnects after almost two decades working with various international conservation and human rights organizations, and several years in an academic setting.
As a life and health coach, she supports environmental and social justice activists and other changemakers around the world who are struggling with health, energy, direction, and hope. She loves watching people discover that they can heal, thrive, and lead with integrity and joy.
She holds a Masters in Public Policy from Concordia University and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from McGill University.
Simone lives on the shores of the magnificent Kitchissippi River near Ottawa, Canada, with her beloved partner and their two young children.
Half her heart resides in Rwanda, her beautiful, complicated country-in-law.

Rebekah brings over two decades of experience as a facilitator of the Work that Reconnects and is a close student of Joanna Macy, the founding teacher of this method.
As a licensed psychotherapist and couple and family therapist, Rebekah is passionate about supporting parents and children, activists, couples, and people of all ages who are experiencing climate distress, eco-anxiety or burnout.
The values underlying her work are rooted in a long-term dedication to social and environmental justice, her belief in creativity as a healing force, and her love and respect for the natural world.
Rebekah makes her home with her son and partner in unceded Algonquin territory, also known as the Laurentian mountains of Quebec. She enjoys writing poetry, hiking with her dog and playing with her goofy and exuberant toddler.
Amy brings 20+ year of coaching, education and leadership development experience to supporting people exploring and integrating pivotal transition experiences in life and work so they can courageously live in alignment with their values while expanding their capacity for caring for self and the wellbeing of the planet.

More recently, Amy graduated from Toronto Art Therapy Institute (TATI), and is supporting individuals, children, adults and families as a Registered Psychotherapist and as an Art Therapist in private practice.
She holds degrees in: Outdoor & Experiential Education and Religious Studies from Queens University; a Masters in Curriculum, Teaching & Learning focused on Holistic & Aesthetic Education (OISE/ UofT); and, a post-graduate certificate in Executive Coaching (Royal Roads University).
When not working, Amy enjoys being creative, learning about living sustainably, engaging in outreach and spending time outdoors with her family.
